I have this 5 year old Acer AL2016W and it has analog and Looks like DVI I just got it from a school sale for cheap a few months ago I did not have a DVI cable so I did not use one. I purchased one and Now the four little pins on one end won`t fit into the Monitor
Can I just cut them Off??
Did I buy the wrong type of DVI cable
I really don`t want to destroy an unused cable for nothing if anyone can give me any input I would appreciate it. I do not know why they would put a fake DVI input on a monitor does not make sense
