Acer 10X 8X 32X CD-RW - $99.99 at Best Buy B&M

Best Buy had, in today's flyer, a unique combination of a $40 'price drop' and a $40 'instant rebate' on their previously $179.99 Acer 10X 8X 32X CD-RW. That left the price at $99.99. Not bad for an 8X RW, though Acer seems to be just average quality, and it may not include the IDE cable.

One of my friends had this drive. It was a piece of junk. He received 3 defective ones before he finally exchanged it for an HP 9350.

4mb buffer, no burnproof on it. I *think* burnproof drives usually have a 2mb buffer

I have this i bought it back 2 months ago from staples for 69.95 their special deal and rebate. But i love this better than the SONY 12X8X32X i have. This dont make coasters like sony does.
