Ace Reporter & Den Mother

I have recently returned to these forums after a long time (suffering in AOHell, he he.)

I see that members titles now have many extra echelons. When I left, there were only Junior Member, Member and Senior Member. I understand the post-count levels of Golden, Platinum, Diamond. And the Elite Member title is apparently an honorary thing for those who are most useful to the forums.

Can some one explain "Ace Reporter" and "Den Mother"? Have we got Jimmy Olsen and June Cleaver in our midst?

Those titles are unique, NFS4 has the Ace Reporter Title and WombatWoman has the Den Mother title. To my knowledge, no one else has either of those titles.

he was making a crack that ace was meant to be ass.

Honorary titles are given by the mods when they deem it neccessary. AndyHui has FAQ man, i believe, something like that. Anyways, they did it to give the boards more personality, i think. I like it

I think WW got the title "Den Mother" because of how kind,patient and sweet she is with all the young people posting here. A title that she richly deserves as imho she's wonderful

For a while there was the Elite Crackhead title for my main man OhioDude. He doesn't have that title any more...

And Paulson was "Most Improved" for a while. Now the young fellow is an "Elite" and we hardly ever get pestered by him anymore. (j/k)

The best custom titles were assigned to a bunch of troublemakers from Ars Techica. They were called "Ars Holes," "Ars Lickers," and such. Wonderful sense of humor our mods have, sometimes!
