Read the note after the first pic. It says that everything is edible, no plastics or artificial things were used. That said, it doesn't say it's all cake, either.

Fondant is sugar and water IIRC. I still say it's cheating. I would never eat those cakes.

A cake is flour, cocoa powder, oil, eggs, baking powder and frosting.
