can anyone make ACDsee the default image viewer in XP?
XP image viewer is still comparatively slow to ACDsee man 🙁

Ooops, forget my last response...

right click on the picture, and then go to "open with" and then choose program. Choose acdsee, and then click on always open this using this program blah blahb lah.... hope that helps!

I had to go into Windows Explorer > Tool Menu > Filetypes, then go to jpeg or whatever and set it to ACDSee there.

When you go in, it actually shows ACDsee in the box for some reason, but it doesn't work with it, so you have to hit OK or apply or whatever to make it "remember" after that it worked for me.

I never had any problems with it either. Try reinstalling it, and be sure you check the "make default viewer" box...or whatever it says to that effect
