Acd see 7.0 error

My dad fudged his own computer by downloading updates while having a few programs running. He now gets an error of "ACD See has encountered a system error and will close now" Any idea how to fix this would be great to get him off my ass. Thanks.
 
just reinstall the software. obviously something is corrupted and this is probably the easiest way to get it back to working order.
