accurate temps from the mb monitor

hi,
i was wondering what temps my cpu and mobo had.

now if i use via hardware monitor at the moment i`m writing this it says
cpu=45*C
System=36*c

if i use sisoft sandra 2002, it says
cpu=37*c
mobo=22*c
power/aux temp=46*c

which is right?
what does "system temp" mean?
what is "power/aux temp".

where does sisoft sandra get the 3rd temp from? even the bios (abit KT7A-RAID)only sees 2 temps.

system temp is what the temp is in your case

the others i dont know

i had a problem with MB Monitor so i cant be sure about that
 
Interesting problem.

On my ST6 I know that Motherboard monitor, Sandra and the bios all report the same temps within about a degree of each other.
 
thanx for the reply, but where did the computer get the 3rd temp from?
too my knowledge, there are only 2 temp probes in my pc, the cpu`s and the mobos, i should know, i built the dam thing.
