Accurate CPU temp readings?

I have a Cooler Master DP5 6131A, with a T-bird 1.33@1.46GHz. Under full load, my temp monitor shows that my CPU is only 45C. I know Cooler Master's are notoriously bad for cooling, but I have confirmed these temperatures with SiSoft Sandra, and Motherboard Monitor 5 (I use the monitor Epox packs with it's motherboards primarily). Do you think these temps are accurate? I didn't go nuts with cooling, I just have 2 case fans, but my computer is located in my basement, where it is particularly cold (and now the air conditioner pumps cold air down here too - damn summer).
