Accuplacer

Since I dont have a current SAT score, and no lower level english courses with any colleges, I am told I have to take a placement test.

Any of you know if calculators are permitted on the Accuplacer (aka CPT developed by the kind people at Collegeboard).

I called the school, they told me not to bring anything, but they didnt tell me if they would provide me with anything either. . .😕

Anyone else? who has actually taken this thing?

I'm pretty sure you may only have a simple four function calculator. Like one from the dollar store. But if you can't even have that, then it's no big deal, they'll just take it from you during the test and you'll get it back afterwards.

Out to be fun then. . . cause I have recently found out that I have lost a majority of my mathmatic skills (not like I really had any in HS, weak B student in all of my math courses). Got a couple CLEP study guides, and cliffnotes elementary algebra and algebra ii booklets here, maybe some of it will be sparked. How was the exam? You take it mwtgg?

No, no, but i did see some of the practice tests and it doesn't look too bad.

Yeah, Ive been doing some of them. One site has some more intense ones, while another has a more laid back and, to me, easier set of questions. *shurg*
