can anyone tell me how to get rid off this cpu usage sucking software. i already disabled telephony in the services folder under admin tools but this operation keeps starting up. google takes me to a phone service answering sofware and support company. they were no help at all. if i take it out of my start up services listed in ms.config will that do it.

i built this to play games and while i will tackle many things on my own, going into the registry and start/config files is somewhere i need help with. been playing too much and not reading enough i guess lol.
 
If you are comfortable stopping services, dont worry about unchecking items in MSconfig's startup as they wont disapear from there, they will just be unchecked and you can always go back and change it. Even if you uncheck everything in there, Windows will load fine. You should be able to google all of the items in startup to find out what their purpose is if you are wary of unchecking them.
 
yeah i guess i can live with turning it off until i can trim down the start processes. i have like 49 after the pc is booted to my desktop.
