Accoustic management on 75GXP?

Right now, mine is disabled. While I have an idea, what exactly is it? If it's enabled, does either the random access time or the read burst speed increase? What are the
advantages of enabling it or keeping it disabled? If enabled, what settings are recommended?

Before I start playing with it, I just want to get a few tips. Thanks.

my advice would be to keep it disabled. when you enable it the access time is diminished slightly to make the drive quieter.

Thanks, jklesel. I don't find the drive that loud, so I'm going to leave it disabled.
