There was a statistic, I may have posted a thread here about it that came up with less than 10% of the people that own computers use them for anything online dealing with shopping or finance. They measured this as usage per day though which for even power users probably could be true as many pay their bills all on one or two days and if shopping usually knock that out over a day or two rather than ordering a little everyday.

I wonder if they count people using cash registers/inventory computers as using a computer during the day - that'd probably put a lot of people who don't own a computer on the list.
