The big profit margins are in processed foods. It's in the best interest of the food conglomerates to push fat-free foods. It doesn't help that a lot of health professionals reinforce the concept even though it's based on junk science.
Amen, brother!!!

Werd.
<-- Takes another bite of the $2 tiny low carb chocolate bar. 😀

I don't buy low-carb food either. I suppose they are okay for people who can't ween off processed foods, but there's a lot better options.

you know of course, one case does not a rule make.

many a cigarette smoker has lived long healthy lives, can we safely assume then that cigarette smoking is not bad for ones health?

That's cool... my food intake sucks a lot of the time too.. sometimes I get these health kicks and I eat really good for like a week. then it all goes to hell again 🙂

I'm only 22 so I don't really have to worry yet though 😛

keep lecturing and you might well end up a statistic😉

Yeah, I'm waiting for a hand to reach out of the monitor and throttle me by the throat!

Anytime you challenge someone's long-held beliefs, even if they have no basis in fact or reason, you set yourself to be unpopular.🙂

I'd been duped by the food conglomerates, drug companies, and the medical establishment too, but no more!

No one cares about your health more than you. Do your own research and don't rely on the opinions of others who are looking to line their own pockets.

That's what I've learned anyway.

There is so much BS when it comes to health it's not even funny. Here's my "system" that I'm convinced would work fine for almost anyone if they actually tried it.

I eat pretty much whatever I want. I don't smoke, but I drink fairly often. The key is, I exercise, both running/biking and weight lifting pretty often. Seems to work fine for me 🙂

thats the way it should be...
