According to eHarmony.com, I'm incompatible with the human race

eHarmony is based upon a complex matching system developed through extensive testing of married individuals. One of the requirements for it to work successfully is for participants to fall into our rigorously defined profiles. If we aren't able to match a user well using these profiles, the most considerate approach is to inform them early in the process.

We are so convinced of the importance of creating compatible matches to help people establish and enjoy happy, lasting relationships that we choose not to provide service rather than risk an uncertain match.

She actually asks you that? What do you say? "No mom, all the girls on Anandtech are taken"

We are mostly females, with a few males.

My friend bought me membership to a personal website. It is one of the big ones. Do people actually meet?

Oh man that is ROUGH. I'd only heard about this site last night, so it's possible that they don't have much in the way of other people - I imagine that they have sample only a tiny portion of the human race, so don't lose faith :)

Actually, one of my older cousins met her husband online; they were both in their mid 30s, and neither of them really took it seriously.
