Accord battery - Need a new one

Dealer told me the battery wasn't holding a proper charge although the car works fine. When I look up replacements online a few shops only list Group 51 batteries. The current OEM is a group 35.

Should I switch to the larger battery or keep it the same?

Group 51 is actually a smaller battery than a group 35. Stick with the OEM size. Some cars offer two OEM sizes with one obviously smaller.

Both will fit without any modifications. Stick with Group 35 as it is a larger battery that in general has larger cranking amperage. Lot of Honda Accord owners toss their small batteries and replace them with the larger group 35 for better starts and more stable power delivery.
