Accidently made win2k remember a password....

Anyone kno how to remove the password that it remembered? Thanks

Go to Control Panel then to Users and Passwords
Select the user ID you are worried about and change the password on it.
Once this is done check the box that says :users must enter a name and password...blah blah blah..."

Should do the trick!

Oops...i should've clarified...it remembered a password from a website. You know how when u enter a password and submit it, windows asks u if you want it remembered or or not?

ahhhhhhhhh!

ok do the following:

Right mouse click on the Internet Explorer Icon on your desktop...select options..then select the CONTENT tab.
Under this select the "Auto COmplete" button.
Inside you will find the option to clear all stored passwords and forms.

Assuming you are using IE 6.0.

-Open IE. Go to Tools -> Internet Options... -> Content --> Auto Complete --> Click on Clear Passwords and set whatever other options you want in there.
