I accidently dropped some rubbing alcohol on my jet lighter and it started spraying its fuel everywhere. How should I go about cleaning it up? Should I be concerned about things catching fire more easily (nothing seems to be wet to the touch)? Will the lighter fluid evaporate?

What the fsck are you talking about?

You dropped rubbing alcohol on your lighter, and it started spraying its fuel everywhere?

How would getting a liquid on a lighter cause it to leak fuel?

No idea, it was a jet lighter shaped like a grenade.

I have no idea what a jet lighter is, I guess..

We're talking about a normal butane lighter here, right? lol

Did you drop a BOTTLE of alcohol on your lighter, or did you spill some alcohol on the lighter?

I can understand if the bottle broke something, but I can't see how a spill of alcohol would cause a lighter to spray lighter fluid.

Both rubbing alcohol and butane evaporate very quickly, you're fine.

Don't wait for evaporation! Set it on fire!!!

(You might need to add more alcohol by the time you read this because it's probably already evaporated.)
