Not really...but I was trying to make a point. And I'd like to avoid touching other's underwears anyway if at all possible. How do you know he didn't just wash huge hershey squirt out of them minutes ago?

ok i understand it's funny and all to be obtuse like that, but really. do you really think you're going to catch something? are you rubbing your face right in the crotch area when you move it? are you sniffing the ass region? what the fuck are you going to catch from a CLEAN piece of underwear fresh out of the laundry, yet I'm willing to bet that you've used a public toilet to go #2 at some point in your life.

The point Im trying to make is that I shouldnt HAVE to touch someone else's underwear. Even if it is washed, it still came from someone's ass region. I shouldn't have to touch it. I'm not even going to get into a public toilet argument and etc... since this situation I describe here is perfectly avoidable. I also shouldn't have to unload a washer for someone else either. And I shouldn't have to wait for you to unload the washer at your leisure so I can use it.

lol

Face it, it's weird to touch someone elses underwear in any situation.

Unless they're female underwear, of course. But best not get caught doing that. Then you would be "that guy", and that's never a good thing. :D

your neighbor sounds like a complete tool. Rather than be friendly and foster a better vibe in the common area he wants to go to war. If some outsider was making off with his laundry and you saw it, I bet you'd just laugh.

Ok case in point, Im starting a second load and using a second machine. Some other tool's finished laundry is in that machine too and I can testify that it has been in there for at least 45 minutes since I started my first load. Fuck waiting.... His clothes got moved too.

If you're not going to be there when a Load finishes, expect someone to have removed it. Or, if you don't want other people touching your clothes, be there when the Load finishes.

This.
No way to know when their comming back, why should anyone have to wait on their own time for someone else when the other person could not sit there to wait on his own time for himself? Not like clothes got damaged.

No way i'd sit there and wait for someone to come and remove their clothes when they couldn't wait on it themselves.

I had douche-bags like that when I lived in an apartment. They would fill up all the washers and then leave for hours. When they finally would come back they would walk into the laundry room and bitch about their clothes "being touched" and would loudly threaten to throw other people's laundry on the floor. I opened the door and let them know not to touch my stuff. They eventually got evicted for domestic fighting in the hallways and for the guy setting his own car on fire in the parking lot.

Then I had a crazy Nigerian neighbor downstairs, and he did the same thing with his clothes. I put his clothes in his basket and when I came back out to get my clothes out the washer (yes I use the timer on my microwave) there was a note in my basket telling me "nobody touches his wife's clothes". No sooner did I read it, he came running up the stairs screaming. He grabbed my basket and threw it at me. I told him he was a P.O.S. and if he was unwilling to get his clothes on time, I would do it again. He then threatened to "cut me" and I asked him if I needed to call the cops. He told me "I ain't afraid of going to jail" and then just stared at me for a moment before walking away. If I had my concealed carry permit at that time, there would have probably been one less Nigerian scammer in the world.

I hated apartments. Then end. :)

Watch your shit - holding others up is rude. When you hav your own place you let let your shit mildew all day no one will care.

Agreed. The OP doesn't know whether the guy is coming back in 5 minutes or 5 hours.

I'd have done the same thing.

I agree, if you are not there when the machine stops your shit is getting moved. If you don't want me moving your shit, be there. The real dicks are the people that dump laundry before the machine done is running (common with our driers), or comes with a shit ton of laundry and uses every machine in the room (happens all the time.)

4. Doing all 3 of these to your neighbor: SUCKS TO BE YOU

can't believe people get so emotional over their clothes being taken out of a washer/dryer undamaged. Thank god my laundro sharing and laundromat days are long gone. Kids have it better now though, at least you got mobile phones or portable games to keep you tentertained while you wait...i had to sit there and read mags in my day lol

Good god, people get pissy at this stuff? At school everyone expected that people would move clothes inside a washing machine if you didn't take it out. Dorm policy was that if the person wasn't there 10 minutes after the cycle ends, its fair game.

So guys. About a week ago I think a new tenant had moved in and was doing his laundry. However, he left

1. An umbrella outside the doorway
2. Money sitting in the coin slot for a dryer
3. His laundry basket and detergent sitting on another washing machine

for about 2 hours. His clothes were already done by the time I started counting.

Is it fair game to "borrow" his things if it's sitting out like that?

Fuck that guy. There's no reason you should have to wait in that situation. It may not have been necessary, but I probably would have gone ahead and put the stuff in a dryer too. Laying wet clothes out on a table just seems like leaving a loose end. In any case, I'd have been totally cool with it if I were him.

I usually did my laundry in the middle of the night for this reason when I lived in an apartment.

I dozed off one day when my clothes were in the dryer and when I came back about 20 minutes after they were done one of the girls folding them for me because she wanted to use the dryer.

1. Don't be a douche and leave your laundry in the washer/dryer.
2. Don't be a douche and leave your laundry in the washer/dryer.
3. Don't be a douche and leave your laundry in the washer/dryer.
4. Don't be a douche and leave your laundry in the washer/dryer.

If you do these things and someone removes your clothes because you were too fucking busy or lazy to come back when your laundry was finished: SUCKS TO BE YOU.

This

or simply wait for 5 minutes for someone to get their laundry... :roll;

Sure - because it's always only 5 minutes. I wouldn't wait either. If the load is done and no one is insight - move it! I've had it done to me and I coulda cared less
