Yesterday I accidentally permanently deleted one of the mail folders in Outlook. I was trying to delete a single mail message, and happened to delete the ENTIRE folder.
I am so used to pressing shift-Del, then Enter (to permanently delete an unwanted message) that I didn't notice that the folder list had the focus
Is there any way to recover the mail? Thankfully, that folder was for mailings (newsletters, password reminders, etc) so I didn't lose any personal correspondance. Still, if there's a way to get the messages back, I'd try.
The problems is that everything is stored in outlook.pst so I can't use an undelete program. I thought I could restore some of the messages from the AutoArchive file but it turns out that folder didn't have "Archive this folder" turned on
I also thought I had an older backup on another drive, but it's not there.
Any tips?
