I tend to avoid that like the plague.

65 is the state limit in jersey, isn't it 55 in NY?

That's what I like to hear.

You should visit Detroit sometime. Downtown the speed limit is 70 and we usually go about 85-90.

I visited Detroit once. It was a bad experience. :(
Not because of the city, but because of a certain female who I'm still trying to block out of my memory.

I don't know Detroit well, but 70 mph through a downtown seems excessive.

you were driving in the truck lanes? wtf?

Truck lanes are for cars, buses and trucks. Car lanes are for cars only. Cars are allowed to drive inthe truck lanes.

we were in philly yesterday, and after a lot of traffic before the lanes split, opted to drive in the truck lanes as well. they went MUCH faster than the regular "express" car-only lanes.

why do people like the ruck lanes better than the car lanes?

the truck lanes is only 2 lanes, while the car lanes are 3 lanes? at least from exit 8 to 10, i think

I'm not familiar with 8-10, but usually it's 3 and 3. Difference is the HOV lane is on the truck side for some weird reason.
