Accessing Z/OS V1R4 ...

Hi,

I'm currently working on a client that has a central IBM Z/OS V1R4 operationg system.

As a company rule, all computers have this "Eicon Aviva for Desktops version 9" to access the central system, and work on their sessions.

I would like to know what other software is around that can do this job ... I would like to install a more recent software since the one I stated above dates from year 2000 ... maybe a more recent will give best performance/features/ease of use ...
