There are 3 machines behind the LAN (2=WinXP Pro, 1=Win2K Pro). We can see each other but can't access the shared folders without having the GUEST account enabled. How to access each other with the GUEST account disabled?

For your information, the ICF firewall is disabled. Everytime we tried to access each other, a window pops up for username and password. The WinXP machine can access the Win2k machine by entering the Win2k administrator's password. However, the same procedure doesn't work for Win2k machine to access the WinXP machine. I tried to permit the Network Access without password as shown here but still didn't work.

Please help. Thanks

You need to create a computer account on your XP machine for your 2k machine

What he said. You need to create the same user accounts on the other machines. Say you login to a machine1 as "user1"...well in order to login to machine2, user1 has to have an account on machine2.
