When I try to connect to a Xitami FTP server from inside my LAN (using NAT32 as a gateway), it asks for password, then times out (eventually).

My FTP client is just IE. FTP works fine from the NAT32 computer (gateway).

the daily bump? let me get this straight, when you are trying to access the ftp server from one of the clients? and the ftp server is in your network? did you try connecting through the IP address ftp://192.168.0.1 (for example)?

I think I just figured out part of the problem. I found that I am able to access all other FTP sites but my own and one my friend has - both of which are running Xitami webserver. So either there is a problem with Xitami or we have an incorrect server setting (I can still access my FTP server from work).

My FTP server is outside the LAN.
Thanks,
Jon
