Accessing the net On your phone using 56k

Ok well i wanan buy 1 of these smart phoens that use msn email web all that jazz. but im wondering is their any way or phone that will let me access the net using Dial up 56k connection. Now i dont mean Connect the phone to your pc. i mena connect to the network on the phone and surf chat on the phone using dial up without a pc.

You can use your cell phone to access the Internet on a laptop, it is generally faster than 56k

Otherwise you can try Windows Mobile Edition Internet if you don't want anything from the cell phone generic OS Internet.

But say, if you wanted to connect to an ISP, you'd for sure have a phone number, but then you'd need hardware that the ISP would need to recognize. This may be hard for ISP to recognize the cell phone and its hardware, but is not impossible. You can use Linux and set up an emulated modem/hardware for the ISP recognition.
