Accessing posts older than July 2000

Past Lifer 1957-2014 In Memoriam
I need to access my posts from 1999 but search will not show any of my posts older than July 2000. I think (seem to remember actually) this is because the database crashed and the forums moved to Fusetalk to prevent such a re-occurrence. All previous messages must have been lost in the crash.

Wayback machine is of no help. 🙁

Am I out of luck?🙁
