Accessing Past Posts.

When I do as you suggest all I get is the option of Email user and Message user. No listings of my previous posts.

Don't use the user search at the bottom, put your own name into the Search Phrase box, then change By: Keyword in message to By: Message posted by user. Then select one or more of the Forum categories. Lastly, click on Search. That will return current posts by that user (you). To look for oldies change "Current Messages" to "Messages over 45 days".

What is the difference between Which messages and the Date Range fields? When do I use one as opposed to the other and what are the limitations of the 2? Is there a limit on how far back I can look?

I usually just ignore the date range fields and go with either current or archived (> 45 days). If your select > 45 days it will search back to 10/9/99 (give or take a couple of days). You can try selecting different date ranges yourself and see how that affects your return.

If I want archived messages greater then 45 days does whatever value I place in the Date Range field override any value in the Which Messages field? To put it another way does the latter selection affect the value of the former?

I'm not the programmer, so to answer that I'd have to go in and fiddle around to provide a factual reply. Give it a try and you'll have your answer plus the results you seek 🙂
