Accessing other's computer

Hey,
Does anyone have an answer for this? When I try to access my cousin's computer on the network, only accessing one folder works while the other one freezes for awhile and then says that I have no access. I had access for the last 2 days, but now, i have no access. Both computers were restarted with no luck. Any clue what's going on?

First I would make sure he is still sharing the other folders and that no firewall services have been started.
