Follow the instruction at http://www.netopia.com/support.../hardware/CQG_020.html, I successfully put Netopia 3546 in bridge mode (with IP 192.168.200.1)and let DD-WRT do the PPPoE authentication and was able to surf the net.

But unlike my experience with cable modem, which still let you access modem status web page(in my case, my cable modem status page is 192.168.100.1), I lost the access to the modem connection status page putting it before DD-WRT, even with a different private IP range (192.168.200.x) than DD-WRT (192.168.1.x)

Anyone konw how to get 3546 modem status page? setup is like this.

internet - netopia (192.168.200.1) - dd-wrt (192.168.1.1) -LAN

Disconnect the Netopia device from the Internet (phone) cable and then try to access the configuration page again. Some cable and DSL modem/router devices won't react to connection attempts when they are in bridge mode and have an active link to the ISP.

Some of the devices can not be connected to once in Bridge mode. Hard reset is needed to make them a Router again.

Connect directly to the Netopia and statically set your IP address to be within range.

That's really all you can do. Your DD-WRT router doesn't know how to get to that network, so you're not going to be able to get to it from behind it.
