accessing a IDE HD with an OS on it

I currently am running an athlon 64 with a 74 gig raptor with Windows XP sp 2 on it. I have a harddrive I want to put on this computer which came from another computer. This harddrive also has a copy of XP SP2 on it as well. Can I still access this hard drive from my existing machine, or will having two copies of XP SP2 cause problems?

It'll be fine. Just make sure you're booting off the Raptor after you install the other drive.
