I have a wireless setup at home using a Belkin wireless router with 2 pcs sharing the connection through wireless coneection. I also have a VOIP phone that is plugged into the wired port of my router. I want to be able to move the phone to another location than by the router. I purchased a Proxim Ethernet Bridge thinking it would connect to the router and share the conection to the phone, but I beloieve I made a mistake. Can anyone cinfirm this is the case and what should have I gotted (perhaps a DLink 810)?

Thanks.

I am not familiar with VOIP arrangements but in order to give it a chance you need a Driverless client card, or an Access Point that can be configured as a stand alone client that can work with the Belkin (these gizmos might not work across Brands) I do not know if Proxim would can do it, you should look for a Belkin product.

May be this can Help: Wireless Network - Configuration Modes.

I believe you're looking for something like this Ethernet Adapter. I am not sure if Belkin makes a 802.11b version or if other brands are compatible with your Belkin router.
