Hello,

I am trying to help out a gentlemen out that has a cable modem in his garage for his business. His wifes wants wireless access in the house, opposite side away from the garage. We have it set up, but the signal is weak and sometimes fails to connect.

He Is Running the Lynksys 2.4 802.11g. Now I have seen the lynksys "extenders" but from what Ive gathered so far, they really are a crap shoot. And also they bigger antenaes, which for 65 bones seems way outa line ( do they really help?)

Well, diggin into this , Ive seen people recomend the using another router as an acess point. I really dont have a clue on this. Is it pretty simple to set up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Id really like to help this fella out

thanks

Kuester
