access point, and wire switch

does anybody know if i hookup wireless access point to my 8 port netgear switch?
would it provide wireless network at office?
or do i need wireless roulter for that?
i'm thinking to take out the hub for home, and buy wireless roulter
but for my office, i kinda need the 8port switch. would AP+switch do the job on providing wireless networking. or should i take out the switch and buy a wireless roulter?
i only ask because i got a good offer on linsey wireless AP.
my office use bell 3mb DSL
with 3 pc, 1 laptop(centrino), printer that connect to my switch

just plug the wireless AP into the switch, that will enable wireless users onto the network.


You don't need to get a combo solution, unless you really want it.
