access floppy drive leads to BSOD in win2k

I have tried different floppy disks, but they all lead to BSOD when I try to access them. Anyone heard of this problem or have a solution to it? Thanks.

the following error message appears in my system event log at the time of the crash:

"RSM could not identify the media in drive Drive 0 of library PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W8432T SCSI CdRom Device. An error was encountered while attempting to read data from the media. "

are your LUNs setup up correctly in your scsi bios? are they in win2k? have you tried different disks?
