I have tried different floppy disks, but they all lead to BSOD when I try to access them. Anyone heard of this problem or have a solution to it? Thanks.

[edit]I just found this error message in my system event log:

"RSM could not identify the media in drive Drive 0 of library PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W8432T SCSI CdRom Device. An error was encountered while attempting to read data from the media. "

hmmm....

my floppy has problems in win2k too. it works fine before the OS gets loaded. but once win2k is up and running, that floppy drive is as good as dead.

I started getting a hard lock-up upon floppy access under Win2k. An fdisk and reinstall fixed the problem and it hasn't happened since. But that was pretty strong medicine.
