Ok, I'm trying to impliment a backup/file server on my home network. I've got the hardware installed (windows XP Pro SP2), and the backup software is "Second Copy".

I'm trying to backup the "Documents and Settings" folder. I've getting this error here:

Picture of Error

I'm turned on sharing for this drive, but yet I still get the error. Can someone help me out?

1. Be sure that the drive root is shared (C$).
2. Make sure the security permissions are set appropriately to allow access to the shared files.
3. If you are using Simple File Sharing, make sure the Guest account is enabled. If it is make sure that the computer is allowing remote logins without a password in gpedit.
