Access Denied to network drive

I have a scenario where a member or two on their workstation cannot access any directories on the server, which is running 2012 R2. When a network folder is mapped a dialog box states that you do not have permission etc. Using a different account, with the same credentials, gives access but even creating a new account in the correct group yields a no permission message.

I cannot figure out why access is denied on one account, while it is perfectly fine on the other. Computers are all connected to the same domain and users are all in the same group. Passwords are correct, and everyone should be able to at least see the contents of the folders on the server.

Any ideas?

I'll give it a read, thanks. Been at it for hours though and I need a break.

Just wanted to add that I found a solution that worked after a few tries... just used elevated credentials and was eventually able to access the folders I needed.

I think there's still a bug somewhere but it saved the info and retains it upon logon so that's good enough for me.
