Hey, I usually don't venture into this side of the forums, but I'm hoping someone can help me out with an access question.

My work has recently gone into a phase where they want databases of everything. They've rolled out SAP to a relatively huge infrastructure and ultimately want everything to interface into it. For a lot of the workers that aren't computer friendly this has pissed them off so the roll out is slowly being phased in.

One of the things they are converting is the way we store certain inspections. One of them being battery assets (we have large battery banks for backups)

What I'm doing is this:
I have four seperate tables. One table is for some general information, there is a date, a SAP id number (That is pulled off the 4th table), and a range of different info. I have a form that directly interfaces with this. No issues there.

A second table takes information about 24 seperate "cells" if you will, as well as date and SAP id. It interfaces with a seperate form. No issues here.

My issue is with the third part. I have a form that I want to be able to control the 24 "cells" from the 2nd table, as well as 36 additional "cells" that go into a third table.

I can't see how I can get the form to control both records though. I'm not sure if it is even possible in access to do so.

IE: User has to put in information about 60 cells. the first 24 go into one table, while 36 others go into a second table.

Any help is appreciated.
