Acceptable temps?

What are the acceptable temp (c/f) threshholds for a AMD64/3200+ - MSIK8NSLI - 1gpc3200 - Ledtek6800THD. I am looking for both CPU and System temps. And what would be acceptable during gaming and non gaming loads.

I wouldn't like to go above 50C for your proc, system temp should be below 40C.

actually i wouldn't be worried until cpu hit 60c ish. case temps should be 20c or LESS lower than cpu

i.e.
case - 56
cpu - 60
is fine.


but
case - 40
cpu - 63
indicates you have a problem with your heatsink/fan

Don't forget about the hard disk. In general, most HD should be below 50C.

IIRC AMD (CPU) white papers say 70C is the limit.
