It's time for new tires. Stock size is 215/75R15 on what i believe are 15/7.5 or 15/8 wheels. i've found that in many varieties, 225's can be as much as $20 cheaper/tire. Looking through some random wheels on tirerack, i see recommended tire sizes vary wildly for the same wheel width.... for example, many 17/8 wheels will recommend tire widths anywhere from 225 to 255. Are there any risks associated with moving up to 225/75R15 or 235 tires? Thanks!

Thanks for the link. That says i'll experience a 1.57mph discrepancy in speedo readout. It's an older vehicle, that's not going to have much of an effect, i'm not worried about it. My question was really in regards to what sizes will fit on my stock wheels.
