Acceptable CPU Temps?

As long as it's stable and doesn't get hot enough to clock throttle don't sweat what temp you get. The reason being that temp readings vary in accuracy and while it may read 70c it could be as much as 10c off +or- You will know if it clock throttles by running Sandra's CPU benchmarks and comparing scores, 1 of the places where Sandra can be useful :)

Try and keep it under 60C at all times. Load temps are usually in the 50's for stock air cooling, with idle temps in low 40's or high 30's.

Grab a simple prog like motherboard monitor to check.
