AcceleroX2 (for Radeon) RAM thermal pads?

I just got quite a few parts for a new system, one of them an Arctic Cooling Accelero X2 for use w/ a Radeon X1950XT. Instructions and reviews online say they come with thermal pads; I don't see any on my fan, nor do I see any in the package separately. Do these no longer come w/ the card or did I get screwed with a dud? Would using the ones on the existing stock cooler work?
 
Yup just use the stock pads. They work fine (and are much easier to take off if you decide to go back to stock cooling again, ie if you sell the card and want to keep the Accelero).
