Accelero X2 in a Sonata case?

After reading the cooler review on toms hardware, I was thinking about ordering the accelero x2 for the 1950xt I have on order to keep things quiet since if you run it at 100% the sound level doesn't increase (or noticeably anyways). The one complaint I've read though is the cooler is a big of a wide load, so wanted to know if others here have used it in a sonata case or think that it would be a problem in a regular sized case?
 
it should fit, it's only a problem if you have a pci card used right below your video card. because the cooler blocks it but it's not that big. i'm running it in a p180
 
Have an x2 in the first version of a sonota. Really the only issue would be the placement of the pcie slot on the mb.


edit: Should add a noisy vibrating with grating sound x2. Have been too lazy to change it.
