How tight do you people usually make the 4 screws for the gpu ?
(7850 + accelero twin turbo II here)
I'm just wondering because the PCB visibly bows if I tighten them more than a few turns.
I don't wanna snap any traces.

That 2nd picture from the top. I see a VRM or ram copper sink that has the fins bent away from a heatpipe, did it come that way. Or was it originally straight?

I had to bend them to make it fit
also I had to slightly pull the base away from the fins, the ramsinks needed an extra 5mm or so
I didn't want to pull the ramsinks off for fear I might rip the bga chips off.
Also I didn't want to use the aluminum heatsinks or the epoxy that comes with the kit. The vrm remains unsinked (no more copper heatsinks) and likely won't matter.

I was just hunting for a reason why it would bow if you tightened all 4 corners slowly/evenly in a tire pattern. But anything is possible, I guess, when attaching a large object to a small area, when one surface can flex easier than the other, etc.

I think it's because the accelero don't come with a crossbar or backplate.
kinda like this:

I've got one of those from a spitfire kit I could use, but i'm now thinking contact is likely good enough with the lighter pressure :)
Also I lapped the bottom of the accelero base, the default finish was likely 80 or 100 grit.
