Accelero S1 Rev. 2 and BFG 8800GTOC question...

So I have the Accelero cooler sitting here waiting to put on, I also got their "turbo" fan module. I read something in another forum about there not being enough heatsinks to cover the voltage regulators. I take it the stock cooling solution has these covered for a reason.

I am wondering if anyone runs this set up without any cooling in place on those areas and it's fine, or if I should find something that fits and wait to install it until then.
I also have read that the supplied heatsink tape sux and have even read of people using JB Weld. Comments?

I took the one's they provide for the ati card, cut it into 3 pieces with 6 fins on each used some super glue and stuck them to the voltage regulators..just in case

also the rev. 2 has some new heatsink tape on it..held perfectly on mine no problems..just hold it on there when installing for like 10-20 seconds should be good

On their website is states no heatsinks required, or at least they didn't have any problems without them. The reviews of this cooler are right on, man it's quiet. I didn't realize how loud the stock fan was until I turned my computer on after installing it, and I had to check to see if the fans were spinning. I can hear my Raptor read and write again heh.
Stock cooling idle was 54-55, now it's 42. Haven't gamed yet, that's next.
