in my opinion, yes. whether it be high school, college, work, whatever, as long as you know you can handle it.

Some people don't realize how great college is (or should be) and want to get started in the "real world" ASAP. And then they go through college so fast and work so hard that they don't get the chance to have fun. Suckers! :p
