AcceleraPCI - 500mhz +64ram on a pci card.

The AcceleraPCI is a card that has a 500mhz cpu and 64 ram on it for $200.

I need to replace two Pentium90/8MB ram systems with 400+mhz, 64ram systems.

Instead of going on ebay to look for systems, I think the AcceleraPCI may be just what I need... (if it works). The HD and videocard in the P90 systems won't need to be replaced.

What do you think? Anybody have this card?

I wouldnt bother.

Just get some all in one mobo and some Duron or Celeron and you will be way better.

here's what I'm coming up with:

Barebones 450mhz system - $120
64mb ram - $20

use the old hard disk.


but i need a video card because the one in the old system is integrated into the motherbaord.
