ACC is definitely the best in basketball IMO.
Duke, Maryland, Wake Forest, UNC, NC State, Georgia Tech, FSU?
How do you argue with a conference that is that stacked?

With the addition of Louisville, Cincy, DePaul, and Marquette, the Big East has 8 teams that were in the NCAA tournament last year (Providence, Pitt, Seton Hall, Cincy, Louisville, Syracuse, DePaul, UConn) including the last two national champions (Syracuse and UConn). If you take into account that Notre Dame had a subpar year, that's 9 solid teams and two of the perennial cellar dwellers (Miami and VT) get shipped off to the ACC where they will continue getting killed and finishing at the bottom of the conference. As a result, I don't think that the ACC is the best basketball conference any more, let alone "definitely the best".

That's one more than the Big 12 has....

You have Oklahoma, then Oklahoma's Beetches.
Nebraska is a has been.
Texas will never get to the next level with Mack Brown as coach no matter how much talent he has.
Kansas State likes to play spoiler, but come on Fresno State?
Missouri...loses to Troy???
Kansas is usually good enough to squeak into a bowl game.
Oklahoma State has been useless since Barry Sanders went pro...

For football, there is only the ACC, SEC, Oklahoma and USC

Hell, even the Big 10 is in danger of having a crappy year. Purdue is the only team showing any signs of being good.

Miami and Florida State are two very complete teams with the exception of their quarterbacks who are probably among the worst in their own conference...This says alot when you also consider that UNC's quarterback is argueably better. I take that back, Brock Berlin is in 8th place out of 11 in the ACC and Rix is in a deservedly last place with a QB rating of 61. You put any of the top 5 quarterbacks from the ACC on those teams and I would put money on them being in the Orange Bowl. I just thank god that this is Rix's last year, so Bowden can officially flush that turd down the toilet.

With the way Virginia, Ga Tech, NC State and Maryland are playing it would not surprise me if a team from Florida is not crowned the ACC champs this year.

For this year I think the B10 is the deepest conference top to bottom. 6 ranked teams, and even our worst team (Indiana) went out and beat a ranked Oregon team on the road. However the conference doesn't have any teams that look to be dominant from the outset which likely means no NC contention.

SEC picture looks similar to the B10. Jury's still out on the new ACC. And I think the B12 may be the most overrated conference in football history.

BigSky will one day reign supreme...with teams like montana, NAU, weber state...ummm...cal poly...yeah you know what im talkin about....phear 😛

perennial also rans and maybes do not a good conference make.

The ACC has the best teams in the country in basketball (Wake and UNC), but if you average the talent in each conference, the Big East is the best.
