not sure that miami will like it thow, being in the same conference as notre dame, or the other way around.

these 2 college programs have to be the two most watched college teams in college football today.

ACC is pulling all the stops.

they are part of the Big East now, except football.

ACC is looking for a similar deal. this would actually help ND's Basketball program as very few conferences get the bball recognition that the ACC does.

however acc is looking for notre dame to contribute a bit more in football than they have with the big east.

if they do join ACC and ACC gets the football championship series, it will help ND enough for it to be tempting for them.

contract runs out in like 4 years...acc is looking to get football in 5 years...ND has to decide if ND football will get a new contract with nbc or not

Because they may have to now. The Big East is in pretty big trouble now with Miami and VT leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if they demand that ND participate in football or they don't get to participate in any of the Big East sports. That would kill their basketball program which had been quite good the past few years. The ACC could make similar demands. ND may simply have to if the big conferences refuse to let them play any sports in their conferences unless they participate in all of them. FB would likely survive, but the rest of their sports would likely go down the crapper.

Where exactly is Notre Dame anyway? Gotta make sure they're actually near the Atlantic Coast before we let them in. 😉
