Hi folks. I have a Epox 8kta3 on which i am using the integrated sound. It was ounding ok, then it started sounding really bad, low rumbly, making my monitor distort.
i did a total reinstall of windows, formatted the HD and all. Installed with the latest drivers from VIA(1.20).
Still bad sound. Is it the board or the drivers or what.
The sound was ok untill I downloaded a .wav clip to listen to. It would not play, then when I played a .mp3 file, it soundedlike crap.
Any clues as to what I have to do to fix this?
