AC2 ATOT'ers?

AC1 HAS ALWAYS BEEN the greatest MMORPG of all time. That is without a doubt. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know any better anyway (since AC1 had such a small fanbase). Want to know WHY AC1 has a small fanbase if it's such a great game? Well, there has simply been no advertising. The only advertising at all came with the first expansion like 2-3 years into retail. By then other games with better graphis were coming out. All of the morons who can't tell fun apart from a brick to their face ended up buying WoW and Lineage2 and EQ. "Ooo, pretty colors, this game must be great." WRONG

Anyway, AC2 wasn't a very good game. I played it for public beta + 9 months of retail hoping it would get better, but it never did. I played AC1 for the first 2 years of retail but decided I needed to stop playing this game because it was too damn addicting. Since then, I've played EQ1, EQ2, Lineage2, Planetside, AO, UO, WoW, Guild Wars, DAoC, and a bunch of different no-name MUDs.

AC1 always was and probably always will be the greatest MMORPG. I've pretty much broken my MMORPG habits though (don't see a reason to pay a $12 monthly fee anymore, nor do I feel like getting sucked into fantasy land for weeks on end). I play a free Lineage 2 server sometimes if I get really bored (server has 25x exp/drops, score ! L2 is a horrible level grind without that)

In conclusion, AC1 is awesome, AC2 sucked, all other MMORPGs are mediocre

Wrong - 97-00 UO destroys AC1.
 
I've played AC1, AC2, UO, EQ, and of them all I enjoyed AC2 the most, only because of the look and the feel. I wish there were more players in it, and realistically there's about 14.5k active accounts, compared to AC1's 22.5k active accounts, so they're not that far behind. Obviously there's many, many more in WoW and EQ and all that, but there's still enough to make the game viable as a business, considering they're pulling in $200k a month in subscriptions, and that's going up with new players.

Notice I put "ATOT'ers" in the title, as in I was curious about who from THIS forum played AC2 specifically. But thanks for playing, I never consider my threads successful until either Nik or Rossman post in them.

Notice how Anand made a GAMES forum in the forums, as he obviously intended the games threads to go there instead of Off Topic.

Yes, and I'm sure all 5 of the posters there are awesome people, but once again, I only cared to find out who from OT played these games, not those from Software, otherwise I would've posted it there. I suppose I could've posted it there, then posted a topic here with a link to there, which wouldn't have worked nearly as well, so I simply posted here.
